gold and silversmith
I completed my Craft Degree in 1991, majoring in Gold and Silversmithing. Life’s journey has brought me family, motherhood and now, Designer Jeweller in precious metals, stones and wood.
I love the different colours and patterns in the timbers that exist on our planet and I intend to use more recycled timbers in the future. l also like experimenting with textures in my metal. My inspiration comes from life, nature, communication and symbolism, (historical, cultural and modern) particularly the Runes; the Vikings used them as a simple form of communication, unspoken language. I hope my individual pieces communicate to you.
