Ernst Fries

My work is informed by my environment, and the ambience the Yarra Valley offers. The inspirational light especially at sunrise and sunset, the richness of the colour and the spatiality experienced at different hours of the day move me to create sculpture.
I use a diverse range of materials for my work. Stainless steel, granite or glass and combinations of it are my preferred mediums.
