Entering my studio I look around and all my creative energies come to life.
Sewing for most of my life – from family, fashion and bridal to the Australian Ballet Production Department, I have learnt to marry textiles and colour blending with dyes. I am also fortunate to have obtained discarded costumes rich in silks and natural fibres with years of character which to me are priceless.
My collection of fabrics, haberdashery, jewels, millinery, manchester, wools, and specially selected clothing has led me on an exciting path. Designing and creating is my passion –combined with techniques of flower making felting and embellishing.
