My works are bright and beautiful, and meet my need to create beauty that gives joy and happiness; works that uplift the viewer and wearer; to create original works of positive beauty. As an intuitive contemporary artist I work in two disciplines; painting; using acrylics and precious leaf on canvas or linen; and textiles including crochet and felting, using Australian wool, imported silk and Yarra Valley Alpaca.
Giving honour to the past, while moving forward into tomorrow, my creativity is underpinned by study and observation, by beginning, thinking, planning and drawing. Through actioning these processes, the muse takes over and completion follows.
