All my life I have found nature a true inspiration, from the texture of a decaying leaf, a smooth river stone, or an abandoned birds nest.
Creative triggers can be anywhere, and start an intensive period of drawing. From there, I often work the images into collages and mixed media, simplifying shapes and translating my drawings into a textile format.
My studio space allows me to explore different elements of my textile and art practice.
